To: Potential
VIHC Board Members
The humanities play an increasingly important role in all our lives, helping us to tell our stories to one another and to set the agenda for a coherent future. The Virgin Islands Humanities Council’s nominating committee now needs your assistance in identifying individuals who may be appropriate nominees for the Council’s board of directors this year.
We are looking for two nominees from St. Croix to join the board in 2007.
Enclosed you will find both general criteria for membership as well as specific
attributes the board is seeking. In particular, we are looking for individuals
who have community connections, business experience, legal experience and
knowledge of the humanities.
Thank you in
advance for your time and interest. We
look forward to talking with you soon.
Sincerely,
Dennis Parker, Chair
2007 VIHC Nominating Committee
